NOTES FROM THE FOUNDERS

Frans & Setiawan ("F&S") is founded in July 2019 by two driven and motivated young lawyers - Hendra Setiawan Boen, and Alfin Frans Nainggolan - the principals of Setiawan & Partners and Frans & Associates.

Prior to coming together to found F&S, we, the two founding partners had known each other for quite some time, and since then we admire each other's strong professionalism and dedication to the profession, an admiration which grows with the passage of time and one based on respect for the exceptional quality and specialization in law we see in each other. .

F&S is designed to provide effective legal solutions for its clients. With the combined resources of the two merging firms, we believe that F&S will be able to provide full legal service to its clients.

THE FIRM

F&S is law firm based in Jakarta with the aim of providing effective legal solutions for its clients. It structures its practice into three departments: Corporate and Commercial Practice, Dispute Resolution Practice, and Intellectual Property Practice. F&S consists of multilingual attorneys having extensive experience in counseling prominent clients at first-tier Indonesian law firms.

At F&S, the lawyers understand that theoretical understanding of legal issues is not sufficient. Therefore, it is a F&S custom to develop and maintain cordial professional working relationship with various government entities at all level, including, but not limited to, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Foreign Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), the Indonesian Financial Service Authority (OJK), as well as the Indonesian Central Bank (Bank Indonesia), in order to provide its clients with comprehensive, detailed and relevant legal advice directly sourced from the relevant authorities.
